Hospital Overview
Chang Gung Memorial Hospital offers the largest and most comprehensive health care services in Taiwan, comprised by a network of 10 hospital branches located in Linkou, Taipei, Taoyuan, Tucheng, Keelung, Yunlin, Chiayi, and Kaohsiung.
- Our hospital network contains a total of 11,360 beds.
- We receive an average of 8.2 million outpatient visits every year.

Our health care system is also further consisted of Chang Gung University, Chang Gung University of Science and Technology, Acute Hospitals, Chronic Hospitals, Chang Gung Clinic, Chang Gung Nursing Home, and Chang Gung Health and Culture Village.
To advance medical services, we established the Yung-Ching Wang Center For Advanced Medicine at Linkou Chang Gung Memorial Hospital, which is Asia's largest and Taiwan's first Proton Therapy Center and began operations in November 2015. Additionally, the Yung-Ching Premier Cancer Therapy Center at Kaohsiung Chang Gung Memorial Hospital started offering proton therapy services in October 2018.

Chang Gung Memorial Hospital is Taiwan's leading destination for international patients, attracting over 30,000 overseas patient visits annually. Among these, patients from Mainland China represent the largest group, with numbers steadily increasing. The International Medical Center provides dedicated assistance for patients from Hong Kong, Macau, Mainland China, and other countries worldwide. Services include appointment scheduling, medical consultation, treatment planning, local transportation, and accommodation arrangements. The International Medical Center can assist foreign patients in applying for a medical visa to Taiwan and handling related procedures for receiving treatment in Taiwan. A one-stop service is offered with streamlined processes, transparent pricing, and fast-track access.
